A: Subscribe to the listserv by sending the President an email requesting to be added to the listserv with your email address included.

Q: How do I become an FBIS officer?

A: Elections are held every year at the end of the Fall Semester.  Each candidate will have the opportunity to give a speech and majority vote wins.

Q: When is the meeting this week?

A: Meetings are held weekly on Wednesdays at 5:00 PM, unless otherwise noted.  We generally schedule meetings at the same time each semester so that students can plan FBIS around their course schedules.

Q: How do I become a member of FBIS?

A: Please print an application from our website (http://www.umdfbis.com/), complete it, and submit it with your dues at the next meeting.  Dues are $20 for new members and $15 for existing members.  Dues are used to help pay for food at each weekly meeting and subsidize events such as happy hours.

Q: I am not in the business school.  Can I still be a member of FBIS?

A: FBIS is open to all majors.

Q: I have suggestions to improve FBIS or bring in a specific speaker.  Who should I talk to?

A: Feel free to email or meet a member of the executive board and share your thoughts.

Q: What trips does FBIS sponsor?

A: FBIS helps sponsor a trip to New York in the fall semester and Baltimore in the spring semester.  Information about each trip is relayed at meetings and through the listserv.
